Thanks again for the great class last night!! I had high hopes I'd learn something useful, but had no idea it would be so comprehensible and so easy to put into practice immediately.
Harmon's School of Photography offers classes on most aspects of digital photography.
Whether you have just got your first digital camera, or you want to get more serious about your photography, our classes will provide the jumpstart you need.
On Camera Flash Photography
This class will cover the fundamentals of flash photography. Whatever camera system you own, you will learn how to get the best out of your pop-up flash, and to effectively use an external flash unit mounted on the camera. Topics covered will include using various on-camera flash modifiers, flash brackets, use of front- and rear-curtain sync, high-speed sync flash, bouncing flash off various surfaces, fill flash, and balancing flash with ambient light. This class is guaranteed to greatly improve your flash photographs and take your photography to a new level. There will be some hands on shooting in this class.
Prerequisites: We recommend that students have taken our "Introduction to DSLRs" class, or have a similar level of knowledge and understanding of their camera controls, especially manual exposure metering and white balance.
