Lightroom 2 (Advanced)

Adobe Lightroom is a powerful tool for cataloguing and editing digital images, and is uniquely suited to processing large numbers of photographs quickly and efficiently. In this class, we will go beyond the basics in Lightroom 5 to develop techniques and workflows that will save hours of time in post-processing.

Topics will include: How to supercharge your image importing by applying keywords, metadata and image corrections automatically; how to select or reject images quickly and efficiently; the use of Smart Collections to dramatically simplify and streamline your workflow; the use of external devices to automate the Lightroom experience; and using LR's Book Module to quickly produce great looking photobooks..

We will also cover some advanced editing techniques in LR5 including: Creating and installing Develop Presets; the power of the Local Adjustment tools; Creating great monochrome and duotone effects; Creating Custom Calibrations; Distortion Correction; Advanced uses of the Tone Curve and much more!

Prerequisites: Participants should have previously taken our "Introduction to Lightroom" class or be comfortable with the basic operation of Lightroom. The class will be based on Lightroom Version 6 but will be 85% applicable to Lightroom 5.
